#7 – Driscombe Lodge 

It was also the cheapest (but not too cheap). We loved the room! The view was amazing, we were on the second floor with a great view and it wasn’t too far from the beach. I think this is the most all-around best of our entire trip.

#6 – Hotel Kilimanjaro 

From our room we saw lots of hot weather, beautiful views and the beaches were packed. This was one of the most expensive motels we’ve been to, but it was really nice too. The lounge downstairs was amazing, very modern and the staff was very helpful. We have also heard the food is good and you can get a nice breakfast at the hotel.

#5 – The Ocean Bay Hotel 

Even though it was pretty expensive, we really enjoyed it. It was clean and modern, but there weren’t many things to do. We were surprised that there wasn’t more of an active nightlife. But maybe we’re just too old for those places.

#4 – Flying Cloud Motel

I thought the room was very nice, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a huge TV and a balcony and the restaurant was delicious. They also had a spa. But they were pretty busy and I don’t think we would have enjoyed it much.

This was probably the best motel we’ve ever stayed in! The view was great and the grounds were great too. It’s located right in Downtown Daytona Beach and close to the beach. They had a pool and a gym and there were lots of places to eat. We thought the room was really nice too.

The room was very spacious and modern. They have a pool in the room and even a few chairs and a table. We loved the restaurant and the service. The whole place seemed very modern and in our opinion it was the best room we’ve stayed in so far.
